Rally Health Launches Benefits Enrollment Tool Rally Choice to Help Employees Understand, Select and Enroll in Health Benefits

7/21/15 – San Francisco & Washington, DC – Rally Health, Inc. has launched Rally ChoiceSM, a new offering to provide consumers with the education and guidance to make health benefits decisions that best fit their personal health needs, and takes them through the enrollment process when signing up for health benefits offered through their employer or health insurance provider.

Rally Choice makes it easy for consumers to navigate the insurance enrollment process by letting them shop for their benefits online in the same way they do for other major purchases. With Rally Choice, they can research, compare and purchase their benefits through an intuitive, guided experience that helps them better understand the often complex benefits options available to them.

“As they are today, health benefits are pretty hard to understand, and choosing the right benefits for you and your particular needs is even harder, especially at a time when you’re being required to take responsibility for an ever-increasing piece of the health-care dollar,” said Grant Verstandig, Rally Health founder and CEO. “This is where Rally Choice steps in to help. Our new health benefits solution on the Rally platform is designed for simplicity, taking usually complex steps and breaking them down into small actions that help people easily navigate their choices, and access the information they need to make smart, informed decisions about their benefits.”

For employers and health insurance providers, Rally Choice offers a plug-and-play system that streamlines the administration of benefits by eliminating clunky administrative systems and paper-based enrollment processes, and moving everything onto a digital platform. Rally Choice is unique in its approach in supporting medical, dental and vision insurance, and providing an intuitive consumer experience around voluntary, non-medical products, financial protection programs and wellness.

Rally Choice expands the company’s offerings as an addition to its flagship product RallySM, a digital health and wellness platform. Earlier this year, the company launched Rally to help people make simple, positive changes in their daily routines, set fitness goals and stay on target. The gateway to Rally is a proprietary, patent-pending online health survey (with a completion rate of 95 percent based on Rally experience) that benchmarks the consumer’s health status. Based on the consumer’s answers and other self-reported and digitally captured data from wearable devices, Rally promotes greater adoption of healthy lifestyle behaviors by engaging the consumer through personalized recommendations, rewards, coaching, tools, community and content.

Rally and Rally Choice were built using a common visual design language and underlying technology that enables data to flow freely across the two solutions and provides consumers with a seamless, unified experience.

The launch of Rally Choice was accelerated by Rally Health’s acquisition last fall of Chicago-based startup Spotlite, developers of technology to streamline employee benefits enrollment.
